Gina Hoosier 33 - Mortgage
Broker
I started my branch of 1st
Metropolitan Mortgage in
August, 2001 with a plastic
table and a few phones on
the floor. I knew with my
faith and my determination
to be successful, I would
make it although the odds
were severely stacked against
me. I had only been in the
mortgage industry for less
than six months when I decided
to take the giant leap of
faith and do it on my own.
Today I have a remarkable
staff of 17, a beautiful
office and have received
several national awards:
2003 & 2004 National
Compliance Award, 2004 National
Leadership Award, 2004 Metro
Circle Award for Leadership,
Achievement & Excellence.
I believe I am the ultimate
Entrepreneur because I was
born an Entrepreneur on
July 8th, also J.D. Rockefeller’s
birth date, at the early
age of 13, I won a 20lb
Hershey candy bar, I broke
it into blocks and sold
it, I also used to take
my lunch money to by candy
and gum to resell to students
for a profit. I opened my
first business in my early
twenties; ultimately, I
can accomplish anything
I set my mind to accomplish.
My motto is, “What
the mind can conceive and
believe it can achieve,”
Napoleon Hill. I eat, sleep
and breathe my goals and
I don’t allow anything
to hinder my momentum. I
believe part of my success
comes from my best quality,
my heart. I am a giving
person who is truly motivated
by helping others. As an
Entrepreneur, my heart is
probably my worst quality
too. I may not always make
the right decision because
I tend to want to listen
to my heart and not to my
head. If I could share only
one thing about myself to
leave with the world it
would be that I would want
everyone to know the Lord.
